On Choice

Susan Carland
Susan Carland asks can too much choice be a bad thing?
We live in a society defined by choice. As consumers, we are face groaning supermarket shelves stuffed with 45 different types of toothpaste. However, we rarely interrogate why we make the choices we do, whether all choices really are equal, and why our society is so obsessed with choice, anyway.

Dr Susan Carland is an academic, author, and social commentator. Her first book, Fighting Hislam was published to acclaim in 2017.
