The Birth of the NDIS

Michael Epis, Anita Phillips

Anita Phillips

Anita Phillips

Dr Anita Frances Phillips first suggested the idea for this book, which draws in part on interviews conducted for her PhD, ‘The process of policy development using the NDIS as a case study’. Dr Phillips was a former member of the Queensland Parliament who passed away early in 2023, not long after this book was underway. She was a trailblazer for women in politics and a true champion of the NDIS.
