Book Launch: Vandemonians

Join us for the launch of Janet McCalman’s Vandemonians: The Repressed History of Colonial Victoria.

Built on a community genealogy project with volunteers from all over Australia and overseas, the book reconstructs the history of Tasmania’s convict settlers and their lives in Victoria, offering a rich study of the lives of these unwilling colonisers, and an original and confronting new history of our convict past - the repressed history of colonial Victoria.

Professor Graeme Davison, Emeritus Sir John Monash Distinguished Professor of History at Monash University, will launch the book.

This event is free to attend but bookings are essential.

Please book here.

Attendees will be sent a promo code to claim $5 off the price of the book when they book their ticket. This code will be valid until 24 hours after the event has ended. When purchasing in store, simply mention the discount code or show your digital ticket at the counter to receive the discount.
