Abigail King read Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge before studying Medicine at the University of London. She works as a freelance writer and her work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Lonely Planet, the BBC, and CNN.

Christopher M. Strange is a science writer living in Toronto, Canada. He has a PhD from University of London and has taught psychology at college level. His writing has appeared in Nature, The Independent and New Humanist. He has also appeared on BBC radio, ABC, and Radio Scotland.
