Bruce Kaye


Bruce Kaye is General Secretary of the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia and has a special interest in the early history and theology of Australian Anglicans. His books include A Church without Walls: Being Anglican in Australia (1995).

Tom Frame is bishop to the Australian Defence Forces and a widely published naval and church historian. His books include A Church for a Nation: A History of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn (2000).

Colin Holden is a Senior Associate of the History Department and a Fellow of the Department of Fine Arts, University of Melbourne. His books include From Tories at Prayer to Socialists at Mass (MUP, 1996).

Geoff Treloar is a historian with a particular interest in nineteenth-century religious history and Australian evangelical groups. His books include Lightfoot the Historian: The Nature and Role of History in the Life and Thought of J. B. Lightfoot (1828–89) as Churchman and Scholar (1996).

The many contributors are all eminent in their particular fields.
