Peter Cochrane


Peter Cochrane is an historian and novelist based in Sydney. He is an Honorary Associate in History at University of Sydney and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities. His most recent work is the novel The Making of Martin Sparrow (Penguin/Viking 2018). The Italian edition was published in Rome in March 2019 under the title La Grande Occasione di Martin Sparrow. His most recent work of non-fiction is Best We Forget: the War for White Australia, 1914-18 (Text Publishing, 2018).
