As the sun sets, join us for a conversation with Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith.

Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith is an award-winning astrophysicist with a talent for making the secrets of the universe accessible to all.  She has spent the past 15 years conducting fundamental astrophysics research at universities and research institutes across the world and publishing her findings in prestigious research journals.

Lisa is a presenter of the popular ABC television show Stargazing Live, author of When Galaxies Collide and a formidable speaker.  She has performed in sold-out theatres across Australia with Apollo Moon walking astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Gene Cernan and Charlie Duke.

Lisa is the Australian Government’s first Women in STEM Ambassador and a Professor at UNSW Sydney.

Copies of Lisa’s book When Galaxies Collide will be available for purchase before the event from 4.30pm and immediately after the event. The RRP is $29.99

Networking nibbles and drinks will be provided in the Mal Nairn Foyer following Lisa’s presentation, thanks to Inspiring Australia NT and the CDU College of Engineering, IT & Environment.
