This is the The Conversation’s first book launch in Perth, and brings together two of the top minds to discuss what the future looks like for planet Earth.
Peter Newman is the Professor of Sustainability at Curtin University. Peter has worked in local government as an elected councillor, an advisor to three WA State Premiers and was on the Board of Infrastructure Australia from 2010 to 2014. He was a Lead Author for Transport on the IPCC. He has written 17 books and 286 refereed articles.
Based in Perth, Michael Hopkin joined The Conversation after several years as a journalist with Fairfax, Sky News and The West Australian. Before moving to Australia from his native UK, he was a senior news and features writer for Nature.
