Warrior Soldier Brigand, In Conversation with Ben Wadham (SA)

Professor Ben Wadham, Director of Flinders University’s Open Door Initiative, is launching his new book, "Warrior Soldier Brigand - Institutional Abuse within the Australian Defence Force" which is co-authored with Associate Professor James Connor, UNSW.

Professor Wadham, a veteran himself, is one of Australia’s foremost researchers into the health and wellbeing of both veterans and serving personnel.

Ben served as an Academic Member of the current Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide’s ‘Lived Experience and Research Advisory Group’ and was recently appointed to the Veterans’ Health Advisory Council. The foreword of the book has been written by Commissioner Nick Kaldas, Chair of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.

Ben and James will give a presentation followed a conversation with John Mannion, CEO of Breakthrough Mental Health Resarch Foundation where they will take questions from the audience.

Morning tea will be served at the conclusion of the question and answer session.
